Comprised of four veteran Baltimore-based musicians, Symphony Black is turning heads with their smooth blend of Fusion jazz that’s played in a unique style that combines the diverse sonic textures of funk, rock, R&B, gospel and soul roots.
Symphony Black is a collection of musicians from several genres of music that perform soulful instrumental music while delivering a unique sound that’s both entertaining and enjoyable.
Meet the Players:
Chip Miller—Guitar. Chip’s playing style reflects strong influences from fretboard heavyweights Larry Carlton for his sweet tone and George Benson for his fluid movement and technique.
Terrelle Scott—Drums. Terrelle is a fresh young talent whos playing style is exciting and infectious. He delivers a soulful, funky and powerful backdrop that incites his audience.
Kenny Howard—Bass. Kenny’s playing encompasses elements of Jazz – both traditional and progressive as well as R&B and Funk.
Travis Davis-Keyboards, Saxophone. Travis’s playing style expresses a passionate and infectious display of talent that relates to all audiences. He is well versed in Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop and Funk.
